Worldline will be present at the Mobile World Congress 2017
Bezons, 23 February 2017 – Worldline [Euronext : WLN], European leader in the payments and transactional services sector, will showcase its latest innovative solutions at the Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, from 27th February till 2nd March 2017 in Barcelona.
In collaboration with Atos and Unify, Worldline will showcase its enriched connected digital services to help its customers to enhance their end-users’ engagement. The mobile industry is growing rapidly and undergoing major changes. To support this mobile revolution, Worldline develops the most cutting-edge innovations. During the MWC, Worldline will present several solutions focused on mobile, connected objects and Cloud technologies.
One of the innovations that will be presented is the digital Maintenance Book for vehicles. The Car Maintenance Book is one of the first use cases built using the Blockchain technology after being initiated to support digital payments in Bitcoin. This solution helps to track car repairs and services, allows a climate of trust and presents several advantages for both consumers and all other participants in the automotive value chain. Event attendees will also discover the Worldline innovative car-based payment service, used with the GENIVI® new automotive OS, for which the company was presented an award at the 2017 Merchant Payments Ecosystem (MPE). This next generation In-Vehicle Payment proof-of-concept enables a new shopping experience for drivers who can make a purchase anytime and anywhere without getting out their devices. Lastly, Worldline will showcases WL Contact, a comprehensive omni-channel Cloud-native platform for Call Centers, and its new features such as the integration of "Circuit," Unify’s Cloud collaboration solution.
Atos will showcase its telco expertise with Atos Codex for telco, a fully integrated and cross market end-to-end analytics solution and with its unique NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) approach. On the Mobility side, Atos will launch “Hoox for business”, the most secure telephony solution on the market, and will demonstrate how to develop mobile solutions for iOS that connect into the SAP HANA eco-system.
During the Mobile World Congress, Worldline will also supports the Breast International Group (BIG), an international non-profit organization against breast cancer, by means of its Donation Box. The Donation Box is a solution used for micro-donations, which combines a connected box, the contactless payment terminal YONEO and the multichannel e-payment acceptance system WL Sips. Event visitors will have the opportunity, if they want, to make a micro donation of 3 euros with their contactless card or their smartphone to support BIG’s clinical study.
